Chrome Extension Support
This subcategory is for issues specifically related to the RTILA X Chrome Extension — the visual picker, data previewer, and project builder injected into your browser.
When asking for help here, please provide:
- Browser Used — (e.g., Chrome 120, Brave 1.61, Microsoft Edge 121) and version number.
- The Issue — e.g., “The visual picker overlay doesn’t appear when I click the target icon,” or “The Data Preview table is empty.”
- Console Errors — Right-click the page → select Inspect → go to the Console tab → paste any red error messages here.
Known Issues & Quick Fixes:
| Problem | Fix |

| Extension won’t load at all | Switch browser to Microsoft Edge or Brave in RTILA Preferences. Chrome may block programmatic loading of unpacked extensions via CDP. |
| Visual picker highlights wrong element | Try zooming to 100% (Ctrl+0). Some CSS transforms can offset the overlay. |
| Data Preview shows 0 rows | Make sure your Item Selector matches at least one parent container on the page. |
